Based in Las Vegas, Streamline Home Loans is one of the fastest growing lenders in the country. With offices in Summerlin and Henderson, they are an easy choice for potential VA borrowers in the Vegas area and their customer service is among the best in the business.
The folks at Guild Mortgage are also one of the best lenders we have personally worked with over the years. As an established mortgage company, they have extensive experience with nearly every mortgage product available to home buyers, including VA loans. Additionally, Eagle has partnered with their local branch in Idaho, Blue Star Mothers, a non-profit organization for mothers of US military members, to send care packages to local troops.
Veterans United Home Loans actually specializes in VA loans, but there are also some non-VA loans for borrowers to consider. Founded in early 2000, it is based in Missouri. Veterans United offers zero interest for VA loans. Like others, Veterans United requires a minimum credit score of 620.
Another lender on the list is PenFed Credit Union, more formally known as Pentagon Federal Credit Union. It offers borrowers a choice of several different types of loans, including a VA loan. With its VA loan it offers a zero percent down payment but requires a minimum credit score of 620. Based in the DC area, PenFed has been around since the mid-1930s and has served more than 2 million members. You must have a PenFed credit union membership.
