Hackensack, NJ, November 11, 2019 – The New Jersey LGBT Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the “Minority-Owned Small Business Cross-Certification Panel” sponsored by TD Bank. The event’s mission is to educate minority small business owners about the benefits of certification with professional organizations. The event will be held in partnership with the National LGBT Chambers of Commerce (NGLCC) and representatives from the NJ State Veterans Chamber of Commerce, National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBENC) and Disability:IN.

Steven Garribel, vice president of business development for the LGBTQ2+ community at TD Bank, will moderate a panel discussion that will allow representatives from each professional organization to talk about the benefits of being a certified minority-owned business. Such benefits include enhanced contracting opportunities with Fortune 500 companies and special access to federal and state government resources and financing.
